Experts praise artichokes as one of nature’s best liver-supporting foods. Rich in cynarin, fiber, and antioxidants, they help the liver detoxify, lower bad cholesterol, and support healthy digestion when added to a wholesome vegan diet. Studies also show artichoke extract can improve bile flow and protect cells from oxidative stress. French study of over 34,000 adults finds diets with high environmental impact— using more greenhouse gases, land, water and pesticides— also increase the risk of major chronic diseases. These diets typically include more red and processed animal-people meats, which increase the risk of developing cancer, coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes, while healthier and more sustainable diets are plant-based—rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Researchers conclude that eating in a way that protects the planet also supports better human health (News Medical)
Dentists say low-acid, fiber-rich fruits like apples and pears help clean your teeth. However, acidic fruits like oranges, pineapples, and grapes can affect tooth enamel due to natural sugars and organic acids. Experts say acidic fruits should be eaten with meals; avoid brushing your teeth for about 30 minutes afterward, and rinse your mouth with water right after eating to protect your teeth (Báo Tuổi Trẻ)

Egyptian-American writer Ana Christina shares how she was poisoned to death by her husband and met Lord Jesus (vegetarian) in Heaven. Ana, a devout Christian, decided to divorce her husband Sam after troubling signs appeared in their marriage. Sam was unhappy at first but agreed to an amicable separation. Days after filing for divorce, Ana developed excruciating headaches and body pain. Sam delayed taking her to urgent care, where doctors dismissed it as flu without running toxicology tests. As chief financial officer overseeing three entities, Ana pushed herself to work for year-end close.
Early next year, while driving on the freeway, Ana saw a vision: a family funeral with her brother and sisters present. Believing God was warning her that her mentally handicapped younger brother would die, she planned to visit him in Egypt. At the office Friday, mid-meeting, unbearable head pain struck again. A clear inner message came: “Leave everything; stop thinking; go home.” She left immediately. Walking to her condo, a clear, audible voice spoke inside her head. She instantly recognized the Holy Spirit, though she had never related to Him before— always to Jesus or God the Father. The Holy Spirit told her He had written His commandments on her heart, explaining that her kindness was Him all along. He instructed her to keep her mouth shut and not share what she heard. Inside, Sam asked if she was leaving tomorrow or Sunday for Egypt. She said she didn’t know, not wanting to interrupt the inner dialogue. He prepared her favorite meal: rice and Egyptian French bean casserole. Having no appetite, she took only dry rice. Staring at it, the Holy Spirit said, “Child, turn around, open the fridge, get plain yogurt, and put it on your rice.” She thought it trivial— He cared about this? He replied, “Child, I’m in every little detail of your life.” At 48, Ana felt ashamed for missing Him her whole life, discovering Him only now.
Lying in bed that night, confused about why the Holy Spirit was revealing Himself now, He spoke again: “Child, it is not your brother. It is you.” The vision meant her own death. A heavy weight settled on Ana’s heart. “What do you want me to do?” Ana asked. “Child, you are going on a journey. You will be back, and you will be My ambassador.” He instructed her to relax, hold still, and stop thinking— difficult for a busy executive whose mind constantly analyzed. Finally reaching stillness, He said, “Now shut your eyes. No matter what happens, do not open them.” A bright Light filled the room, carrying God’s Presence. The window shook like an earthquake. Ana’s heart began to race, faster and harder, until everything calmed. “Okay, child. The next step is an annoyance. Just an annoyance. It will pass.” A whoosh of pain shot through her legs like a sledgehammer smashing her bones. “It is an annoyance, child. It will pass,” the Holy Spirit assured. Despite her fibromyalgia [chronic pain], Ana endured in silence. The pain passed, and she felt nothing from head to toes. “Am I paralyzed?” “Yes, child, you are.” She tried moving but couldn’t. Her husband Sam entered and went to sleep without noticing her condition. Ana lay there the entire night without sleeping. Yet it was the most beautiful night of her life, spent with the Comforter. He downloaded Bible verses and whole chapters, teaching her perfectly. Visions came; He answered unvoiced questions about famines, wars, suffering—mysteries she remembered receiving but whose content He later erased from her memory. Meanwhile, poison coursed through her dying body, but spiritually she laughed with Him. She realized that the real question wasn’t if she’d lived enough, but if she’d loved enough.
Around eight in the morning, Sam turned toward her and pushed gently. “Ana, are you up?” She thought he would call emergency services when she didn’t respond. Instead, he sexually assaulted her. Then he tried to drown her in the bathtub, but couldn’t lift her, so he left her on the floor and poured ice-cold water on her three times. It shocked her system like needles piercing everywhere—it was too much. The Holy Spirit spoke right away: “It is an annoyance, child. An annoyance.” He showed her a vision of Lord Jesus’ hand pierced by a nail, blood flowing as they nailed Him to the cross. This gave Ana strength, realizing her troubles still paled against Lord Jesus’ sacrifice. Sam tried to suffocate her twice but failed. He left the room. The million-dollar life insurance policy flashed in Ana’s mind— she realized he stood to get half a million dollars. It all made sense now: The poison had not killed her as planned. Her talk of Egypt had rushed his timeline, so he dumped it all in her rice that night. This is why Ana was told to add yogurt— it slowed the poison’s absorption. Obeying the Holy Spirit saved her life. Sam came back and pinched Ana’s nose and mouth shut. Her lungs began to collapse; she knew this was the end. The vision grew, now showing Lord Jesus in His robe up to His knees, hand extended toward her. Ana was ready. In her mind, she sang, “Don’t let go. I will not let go.” There was no sharp end to life. Leaving her body felt like shedding a heavy coat.
Suddenly, Ana saw a sky covered in bright white clouds. They parted, revealing stunning blue beyond. Large, vibrantly colored animals flew around the opening—creatures she’d never seen on Earth, reminding her later of the Avatar movie’s flying “dragons.” She found herself atop a lush green pasture where people prepared for a wedding. She saw the bride from behind and tried walking closer, but never reached her. Instead, she entered an indoor corridor. She walked along it and came to a majestic chair. A Lady sat there, draped in a veil that covered Her from the chair down. Ana could tell it was a woman, but the veil hid Her identity. A bystander stood nearby. “Who is She?” Ana asked. “She is the purest of all,” he replied. This was not the bride from the pasture; It was another Figure. Ana moved on. Two bodies of light approached— Ana’s mother and sister, Nadia. She led Ana into a room where joy built to an overwhelming level. “I can’t take it. It’s too much joy,” Ana said. Nadia looked at her and said, “Ana, with Jesus, it keeps getting better.” They walked out to find Ana’s father beside her mother, both as bodies of light. Nadia said telepathically, “Hurry up, you guys. We’re going to be late for our banquet with Jesus.” It hit Ana like no big deal— just typical dinner plans in Heaven. A little later, Lord Jesus revealed His face to Ana, slowly unfolding like a curtain. To her surprise, He had a rugged Middle Eastern face with a long nose— not the blue-eyed Jesus from movies. She thought without meaning to, “You’re Jewish, aren’t You?” then pushed the thought away, embarrassed. She saw nonetheless that Lord Jesus is glorious in His Light.
Ana then found herself viewing the local freeways from above, then her bedroom, where Sam held her limp body. As her soul reentered, she jumped out from under his arms and stood at the foot of the bed, staring at him. The shock on his face was priceless. She was back. Ana returned strong as an ox, the paralysis gone. When paramedics tested her grip, she yanked one off balance— miraculous, given the poison they found in her could have killed a horse. Ana now shares that the joy in Heaven is pure ecstasy, constant and building. Death isn’t the scary void people fear—it’s beautiful. The Holy Spirit rushes in to comfort dying believers instantly. Ana’s message is: “Just don’t wait on your deathbed to discover your true Soulmate. He’s there. He’s waiting on you. He knows the count of your hairs, but again, He won’t impose. Just start by acknowledging Him, and then watch. Watch, and you’ll see your life differently, going through this life with a Companion like that, with the Counselor of the Most High God. Just start, and you’ll be amazed.” (Heaven Encounters with Randy Kay)
Elevating quote of the day: “We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home.” — Wurundjeri (Australian) First Nation proverb
